Specializing in detailing at the owner's home oroffice, Ladies of Hogwash took off in 1998 with only $700 instart-up capital and the strong entrepreneurial drive of the youngL.A. native. While attending Los Angeles Trade Technical Instituteearlier that year, Ocheltree and a friend talked about openingtheir own all-female auto body shop but soon realized a detailingbusiness would be easier to launch. After talking the idea overwith family and friends, Uncle Lou (no relation), an avid bikelover, suggested they focus on detailing motorcycles.
